Howdy there! First and foremost, I want to get to know you! I'm running for Iowa House District 53 to represent you and your families. I know there are many residents of Poweshiek and Tama County that are not having their voices heard on important issues in the State Legislature. Big decisions are made in the Iowa Capitol about public education, food and agriculture, and rural development that have real impacts on our communities. I want to make policy accessible to everyone. The Republican trifecta in Iowa means democracy is on hold and everyday people are suffering. I am here to stand for a new kind of politics, not interested in bipartisan culture wars, but interested in seeing Iowa's rural areas truly thrive again.
